Point of Interest (POI)

A point of interest, or POI, is a discrete place people might search for or navigate to — a café, school, park, hospital or store. POIs power amenity search, trade-area analysis and 'what's nearby' features.

Neighbourly's Business layer includes POI records by category, queryable by coordinate and radius or by map viewport, each keyed to an address and joined to the location hierarchy.
