NAICS Code

The North American Industry Classification System code that categorizes a business by its industry.

NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) is the standard used by Canada, the US and Mexico to classify businesses by industry. Each code identifies a sector — for example, food services or construction — enabling consistent filtering and aggregation.

Neighbourly normalizes corporate-registry data to NAICS, so you can filter businesses by sector, measure industry density in a trade area, and compare markets on a consistent basis.

NAICS Code is part of the Neighbourly data platform. Explore the API or browse the data layers.
