Since 2015, Homicity has worked to build the intelligence layer for Canadian real estate, turning fragmented property data into signals that help people make better decisions. Today we are taking a meaningful step forward. We are introducing Homeprint, a property-intelligence product that generates instant, comprehensive home reports, and launching Lenderoo, a mortgage and lending platform. Together they extend Homicity from a data foundation into consumer-facing tools for understanding a property and financing it.
Why now
The market of 2022 has made one thing clear: information asymmetry costs people money. As the frenzy of the winter gave way to a sharp correction, buyers and sellers alike have struggled to understand what a home is actually worth and what it will cost to own as rates climb. Grounded, transparent data has never mattered more. We built Homeprint and Lenderoo because the moment calls for tools that cut through the noise rather than add to it.
Introducing Homeprint
Homeprint distils the property intelligence we have spent years assembling into a single, readable report on any home. It brings together the details that matter, from a property's characteristics and history to neighbourhood context and comparable activity, so that a buyer, seller, or owner can understand a home in minutes rather than piecing the picture together across a dozen sources. The goal is not to replace professional judgment but to give everyone a stronger, data-driven starting point.
Introducing Lenderoo
Lenderoo is our entry into mortgage and lending. In a year when borrowing costs have roughly doubled and the stress test has become a decisive factor in what people can afford, clarity around financing is essential. Lenderoo is designed to make the mortgage experience more transparent and less intimidating, helping Canadians understand their options and the real cost of a home as rates move. It connects the property intelligence in Homeprint to the financial reality of buying.
One connected platform
Homeprint and Lenderoo are not standalone products bolted onto the business. They are natural extensions of a single platform. Understanding a property and understanding how to finance it are two halves of the same decision, and we have built these tools to work together. The property data that powers Homeprint informs the lending picture in Lenderoo, so that the intelligence flows from what a home is to what it costs to own.
Built for a changing market
We are launching into one of the most volatile housing markets in recent memory, and that is deliberate. Tools like these prove their worth precisely when conditions are uncertain. When prices are falling, rates are rising, and confidence is scarce, reliable data and honest financial clarity help people make sound decisions. We would rather earn trust in a hard market than a hot one.
Looking ahead
This is a milestone, not a destination. Homeprint and Lenderoo mark Homicity's expansion from a data foundation into consumer-facing property intelligence and lending, and we will keep building on both. Our commitment remains the same as it was in 2015: to be the intelligence layer for real estate, and to put clear, trustworthy information in the hands of the people making the biggest decisions of their lives. We look forward to sharing what comes next.
