A school catchment area (also called an attendance boundary) is the polygon that defines which school a given address feeds into. Each school board publishes catchments for its elementary and secondary schools, and an address inside a catchment is eligible to attend that school.
Catchments are a major driver of home values and buyer decisions. In the Neighbourly API, the Schools layer resolves catchments at the coordinate level, returning the catchment polygon, school name, board and language designation for any address.
