GeoJSON

An open standard format for encoding geographic data structures using JSON.

GeoJSON is a widely supported format for representing geographic features — points, lines and polygons — as JSON. Because it's JSON, it renders directly in web maps and slots naturally into API responses.

Neighbourly returns pre-computed GeoJSON for boundaries and spatial layers at multiple levels of detail, so a catchment or neighbourhood polygon can be dropped straight onto a map with no conversion.

GeoJSON is part of the Neighbourly data platform. Explore Neighbourly.io or browse the data layers.
